Day 01
On arrival to Kilimanjaro Airport you are met by a Game Viewers Adventures representative and transferred to hotel.

Day 2
In anticipation of the climb ahead you acclimatise today you are taken around the Arusha National Park in the foothills of majestic Mount Meru.

Day 3
After breakfast drive from Arusha to te slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro to begin the climb up through forest terrain where you may see colobus monkey and signs of elephant. Your first day's camp is at an altitude of 10,000ft.

Day 4: Mount Kilimanjaro
Trek out of the forest and up inot the Hagenia Zone, with abundant bird life all around. Today's final destination is the Shira Plateau where there is a camp at 12,500ft.

Day 5: Mount Kilimanjaro
Todays route take us across the Shira Plateau, towards the Kibo Masaif and through the grand Barranco Canyon to spend the night at 13,000ft.

Day 6: Mount Kilimanjaro
A light day with just a ten hour trek along the Barranco Clif to allows us time to rest and adjust to increasingly higher altitudes. Dinner and overnight- MARA SAROVA CAMP

Day 7: Mount Kilimanjaro
Another short trek and day of acclimitisation as we near the mountain's peak.

Day 8: Mount Kilimanjaro
Our day begins in the small hours of the morning as we rise to start the final ascent to Stella Point, at 18,630ft, on the rim of Kibo Crater. Watch the sunrise and then continue around the rim to Uhuru Peak (19,340ft); the air is rarefied and the climb takes at least seven hours. We then begin the descent to our last campsite on the mountain.

Day 9: Mount Kilimanjaro
Continue descent to the base of the mountain where you arrive, exhausted but exhilarated to meet our driver with a picnic lunch and transport to Arusha. Transport to the airport for departure back home..

Africa's highest snow-capped mountain, which dominates Tanzania's northern border with Kenya. It is composed of three extinct volcanoes — Kibo, Mawenzi and Shira — its highest peak, which is 19,340 feet high. A trek to the top of kilimanjaro is an exhilarating personal triumph for all who make it to the summit.
